RE: Endorsements for city of Tulsa office
On Saturday, August 29, TARA held a candidate forum and endorsing meeting. Many of the Republican candidates for Mayor, Auditor, and City Council spoke and answered questions from the audience. After a lengthy discussion, members of TARA voted to make these endorsements:

City Councilor, Dist. 2 No Endorsement
City Councilor, Dist. 4 Rocky Frisco
City Councilor, Dist. 5 No Endorsement
City Councilor, Dist. 6 Jim Mautino
City Councilor, Dist. 8 Bill Christiansen
In order to receive an endorsement, the candidate must have received a two-thirds supermajority of the votes cast at the meeting. This endorsement is also binding on our umbrella organizations, the Oklahoma Republican Assembly and the National Federation of Republican Assemblies. The endorsed candidates may state that they have been endorsed by the Tulsa Area Republican Assembly, the Oklahoma Republican Assembly and the National Federation of Republican Assemblies.
