State Rep. Dan Sullivan was born in Tulsa and is a fourth generation Oklahoman. He received his B.S. in Business Administration at Northeastern State University and his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law. He is an attorney with Pierce, Couch, Hendrickson, Baysinger and Green, LLP in Tulsa.
Rep. Sullivan was first elected in 2004 to represent House District 71. He has recently been appointed as House Majority Floor Leader. As Floor Leader, he will oversee the daily floor activity of the House during the legislative session from February through May. The Floor Leader also assigns bills to the appropriate committees. Rep. Sullivan has also been the Chair of the Economic Development and Financial Services Committee, and has been a member of the Public Safety, Judiciary and Common Education Committees.
Rep. Sullivan is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Tulsa; he is a member of the Tulsa Dream Center Board of Directors and the NSU Foundation Board of Directors. He is also a Tulsa County Reserve Deputy. He is married to Melanie. http://www.lsb.state.ok.us
