Speaker:  State Rep. George Faught

  Topic:  2010 Republican agenda for Oklahoma House

Rep. George Faught was born in Brownfield, Texas.  His family relocated to Muskogee, OK when he was 6 months old.  Faught graduated from Muskogee High School in 1980, and he graduated from Bryan Institute in 1987.  He was elected to the Okla. State House in 2006, becoming the first Republican since statehood to hold this seat despite the 72% Democrat registration.  Re-elected in 2008, he represents District 14, which includes parts of Muskogee and Cherokee Counties .  He has owned and operated Clean Pro, a carpet cleaning company specializing in fire and water damage restoration for the past 22+ years.  He is a member of the Muskogee Chamber of Commerce, Gideons International, Christian Home Educators Fellowship (CHEF) of Oklahoma, National Rifle Association, Muskogee Character Council and Indian Nations Beekeepers Association.  George has been happily married to Becky for 27 years, and they have 3 children:  Tyler (25), Jamison (19), and Savannah (17).  They have homeschooled all of their children and are active members of Tulsa Bible Church.
