Topic: What I will do if elected
Since being elected State Senator in 2002, Randy Brogdon has championed legislation such as “the Taxpayer Bill of Rights” (TABOR) and SB 1 “The Taxpayer Transparency Act”. In addition, he was successful in leading the charge to opt out of the federal “REAL ID Act” of 2005. Brogdon is also the author of SJR 10, otherwise known as the 10th Amendment Resolution. This resolution is designed to protect states rights and prevent the federal government from overexerting its legislative power. Sen. Brogdon has received numerous accolades for his consistent, conservative voting record from state and national organizations. He was also the first State Senator in 20 years to receive a 100% mark on the Conservative Vote Index. Sen. Brogdon has been a successful business owner for over 30 years in the air conditioning industry. He previously owned a mechanical contracting firm with his father. Brogdon has been married to his high school sweetheart Donna for 36 years and they currently reside in Owasso. They have 2 grown sons and a daughter-in-law. He is active in his church, Woodlake Assembly of God, where he has taught a young adult Sunday School Class and has served on the church board. http://www.randybrogdon.com
Robert Hubbard is a former contractor of residential and commercial construction, a land developer, and a ranch owner. He is the former president of the Oklahoma Paint Horse Club, a former member of the Board of Directors of the American Paint Horse Association, a member of the Pinto Horse Association of America and American Quarter Horse Association. Roger Jackson is a lifetime Oklahoma City resident and retired businessman. He owned a family office equipment business and was involved at every level of that business for 24 years, including owner for 9 years. He retired from Southwestern Bell Yellow Pages in 2006.
