Associate District Judge for Tulsa County, Dana Kuehn
Topic: The judicial system
Judge
Dana Kuehn was elected in November 2006 to the position of Associate District
Judge. Before that, she was Chief of the Juvenile Bureau for the Tulsa
County District Attorney. She also was Director of the D.A.‘s Crimes Against
Children Task Force. She prosecuted over 2,000 criminal cases, developed
a project to improve methods of dealing with testimony in the courtroom, and
developed investigative guidelines for sexual assault detectives. Judge
Kuehn is an adjunct professor of juvenile law at the Tulsa University College
of Law. She received her J. D. from Tulsa University, where she received
several awards; she received a B. A. in political science from
Oklahoma State University. Judge Kuehn is married to Patrick Kuehn, owner
of Decision Tree Technology; they have 4 sons. She is a volunteer at
Jenks West Elementary School and Riverfield Country Day School, as well as a
Ronald McDonald House Board Member. She and her family are members of
Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Tulsa.
